Ca' Serena Crescenza and Thyme Pastry
Ingredients (serves 4)
- 1 pack puff pastry
- 1 egg yolk
- 300 g Ca' Serena Crescenza
- 50 g grated parmesan cheese
- pepper as required
- few thyme leaves
Method
Lay the puff pastry in a mould lined with greaseproof paper,
brush the pasty with the beaten egg yolk and make holes in the pastry base with
a fork. Cut the Ca' Serena Crescenza into pieces and arrange them in the middle
of the pastry. Sprinkle parmesan, pepper and thyme over the whole thing. Place
the mould in a preheated oven at 180° and bake the puff pastry for 25 min.
Switch off the oven, leave the pastry to rest for a few minutes and serve.
