Ca' Serena Crescenza and Thyme Pastry

Ingredients (serves 4)

  • 1 pack puff pastry
  • 1 egg yolk
  • 300 g Ca' Serena Crescenza
  • 50 g grated parmesan cheese
  • pepper as required
  • few thyme leaves

Method

Lay the puff pastry in a mould lined with greaseproof paper, brush the pasty with the beaten egg yolk and make holes in the pastry base with a fork. Cut the Ca' Serena Crescenza into pieces and arrange them in the middle of the pastry. Sprinkle parmesan, pepper and thyme over the whole thing. Place the mould in a preheated oven at 180° and bake the puff pastry for 25 min. Switch off the oven, leave the pastry to rest for a few minutes and serve.
