Golden Nonno Nanni Ricotta Cake
Ingredients (serves 4)
- 300 g flour
- 300 g sugar
- 200 g Nonno Nanni Ricotta
- 50 g butter
- 50 g candied fruit
- 50 g shelled sweet almonds
- 2 eggs
- milk
- 1 sachet baking powder
Method
Beat the eggs with the sugar then add the Nonno Nanni Ricotta
and softened butter at room temperature, and mix together thoroughly. Mix in the
flour, a sachet of baking powder and a little cold milk. Next, pour the mixture
into a high-sided cake tin that has been greased and floured, and sprinkle the
finely chopped candied fruit and almonds on top. Cook the cake in a preheated
oven at 180° for about 30 minutes.
